We started DroneWorks -Thor.com after years (37) of aviation experience as an airplane pilot and a master rated hang glider pilot. Upon retirement, we decided that I needed to keep flying and I discover all the amazing things that commercial drones are used for! I studied and passed my FAA UAV (drone) exam and then continued my educat
We started DroneWorks -Thor.com after years (37) of aviation experience as an airplane pilot and a master rated hang glider pilot. Upon retirement, we decided that I needed to keep flying and I discover all the amazing things that commercial drones are used for! I studied and passed my FAA UAV (drone) exam and then continued my education by completing a Clemson University UAV vocational course.

Our Story
At Droneworks-Thor we have studied and produced 3D mapping, orthomosaics, surveying, blueprint overlays, construction sites, aerial photographs and video for DOT road projects, vacation rentals(airbnb's), real estate sales, and lock and dam inspections just to name a few.
